Ceramic Coatings
A ceramic coating is a thin layer of hydrophobic coating that is applied to the surface of a vessel to protect it. Known for its longevity, durability, and heat resistance, ceramic coatings can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including metal, plastic, and glass, and are often used to protect against scratches, UV radiation, and other types of damage. In addition to providing protection, ceramic coatings can also enhance the appearance of the surface they are applied to, making it smoother, glossier, and more durable.
2
Paint / Gelcoat Corrections
A paint correction on a boat is a process in which the boat's paint is restored to its original shine and smoothness. This is typically done using specialized tools and products, such as polishers, buffers, and abrasive compounds. The first step in a paint correction is to clean the boat's surface to remove any dirt, grime, or other contaminants that may be present. The boat's paint is then inspected to identify any imperfections, such as scratches, swirl marks, or oxidation. These imperfections are then carefully sanded and polished away, using progressively finer abrasives and polishes, until the boat's paint is smooth and shiny. The final step in a paint correction is to apply a protective coating, such as a ceramic coating, wax or sealant, to help protect the boat's paint from future damage.
3
Polishing / Protecting
There are several reasons why it is important to keep your boat protected. One of the main reasons is to prevent damage to the boat's surface. Exposure to the elements, such as sunlight, saltwater, and wind, can cause the boat's paint to fade, peel, or become discolored. This can not only affect the boat's appearance, but it can also lead to more serious problems, such as rust or structural damage. By keeping your boat protected, you can help to preserve its appearance and prevent costly repairs in the future. Additionally, protecting your boat can also increase its value, making it more appealing to potential buyers if you decide to sell it in the future.
